A Grand Velas Wedding in Cabo
Samantha and Jordan tied the knot in Cabo on 11.11—the ultimate angel number. Their Grand Velas wedding was emotional, intentional, and packed with tequila, fireworks, and the kind of dance floor that ends with shirts off and pants torn (yes, really).
The ceremony was right on the beach with clear ghost chairs that looked stupidly good against the ocean backdrop. A mariachi band. A surprise dress change. Fireworks. A karaoke bar. And big families from both sides showed up with their whole hearts—and maybe a few too many drinks by the end of the night (no judgment, it’s your wedding day, live a little). These two threw a pretty party in paradise and made it personal, which made it unforgettable.
Getting Ready & Special First Look With Dad
Samantha and Jordan got ready separately at Grand Velas, each surrounded by their big (and very fun) families. They opted not to do a first look—because sometimes, saving that moment for the aisle is the best option. But Samantha did do a first look with her dad, and yep… cue the waterworks. Someone should've handed out tissues with the programs.
Samantha in that dress—wow. The floral embroidery, the sheer bodice, the off-the-shoulder sleeves… just incredible. Grand Velas made the perfect backdrop for all the glam, greenery, and those iconic pink bougainvillea balconies.
A Cabo Beach Wedding Ceremony
This Grand Velas wedding ceremony was straight-up paradise. Samantha and Jordan made things official right on the beach with the ocean as their backdrop. The setup was luxury-meets-modern-chic, with ghost chairs, a romantic floral arch, and lush white blooms everywhere.
Samantha walked down the aisle with her dad, and Jordan was trying so hard to keep it together. Spoiler alert: he didn’t. After the ceremony, a mariachi band rolled in to kick things up a notch for the reception.
Grand Velas Wedding Reception Shenanigans
Just when everyone thought Samantha had already pulled off the ultimate bridal moment, she disappeared for a quick change—and came back out wearing her mom's wedding dress. A full-on surprise tribute. It was such a sweet moment and such a flex to look that good in two gowns in one night.
This party went from sentimental to send it real fast. The mariachi band brought the energy, and the drinks were flowing. Next thing you know, fireworks exploded over the ocean, the dance floor turned into a sweaty blur, and things escalated in the best way. Shirts were off. Pants were compromised. The night ended at the karaoke bar because this crew wasn't close to done. It was chaos. It was magic. It was a happily ever after for Samantha and Jordan.
