Confession time: I'd never shot at the Capitol Building in Olympia before this session, and I was not prepared for how good it was going to be. Sure, I was expecting cool architecture and some nice steps. What I wasn't expecting was to walk into full-on iconic courthouse elopement energy. The space itself, the marble, the gold details, and the giant chandeliers felt timeless and elegant in the best way.

Angel showed up in a white satin dress that hugged in all the right places and gave serious old Hollywood glam. Jacob kept it simple and sleek in a dark suit, which paired with that marble backdrop. Together, they brought a clean, editorial vibe. The neutral tones, elegant lines, the way they moved together—it all just worked. It's the kind of look that'll still feel fresh in 50 years.

A Sweet Sneak Peek Before the Big Day

This entire session gave major “we just got married at the courthouse” energy, minus the actual paperwork. I mean… walking down the marble steps like they just sealed the deal, shots of them under chandeliers that probably cost more than my car, and that moody elevator snap?? Girl.

This session was the perfect warm-up for the main event. You could tell they were just soaking up this sweet little moment before all the wedding chaos kicked in (and spoiler alert: their wedding day was just as stunning).
