This wedding at Baja Luna Los Cabos was one for the books. I’ve known Colin and Brandy for a while now (shoutout to our Seattle days!), and getting to document their journey from cozy family sessions to their romantic downtown engagement photos was already such a gift. But this was the next-level chapter.

Watching them say “I do” with their two sweet boys by their side was so precious. And don’t even get me started on the design—it was chic with a side of Vogue spread! But beyond the stunning details (we’ll get there), what stuck with me was the love, laughter, and the fact that everyone—kids included—ended up on the dance floor by the end of the night.

Ceremony Design With Elegant & Editorial Touches

Let’s talk about the ceremony design because wow. I’ve shot at this venue before, but this was the first time I’ve seen it with drapery—and let me tell you, it was a moment.

The whole setup felt like a dream: soft, flowing fabric and an aisle lined with roses and baby’s breath. But what made it special was the presence of their two boys standing up there with them. Tissues were needed. (For me. I needed the tissues.)

It didn’t stop at the ceremony. The entire reception setup was dripping in elegance. Chandeliers hanging over the tables, creamy neutral tones, soft candlelight, and floral installations that were somehow both classic and modern. Everything was styled to perfection, but still felt true to them—effortlessly cool and intentional. It was giving fashion-forward with heart, and I was all the way here for it.

Colin and Brandy didn’t come to play—they came to celebrate. And they made sure their guests did, too.

They had a live painter on-site, capturing the magic in real time, plus a cigar roller, a photo booth, and even a phone booth for those Instagrammable moments. Oh, and did I mention the live saxophone player?

And because they’re parents of the year and party hosts of the century, they had a whole kid zone set up to keep the little ones entertained. Happy kids = relaxed parents = a packed dance floor later on. Speaking of that dance floor, as soon as the sun went down, the real fun kicked in. It was the kind of night you never want to end.
